All I can say about this book is that, having read it, I ll be much able at cocktail parties to shoot the shit and sound smart about things that happened before my parents even met each other Its not an exciting book, and I certainly can t argue with it since I had literally no preconceptions about the subject matter, but it does comre chock full of info about the punk and rock scenes in New York in the 1970 s.
