I just finished reading A Home for Her Heart and I think it is my favorite of the Boardinghouse Betrothals series by Janet Lee Barton I enjoyed both the other books in the series but the author outdid herself on this one The hero and heroine are both very appealing with great chemistry and the background story on the condition of some of the tenement houses in NYC in the late 1800s was heartbreaking and vey well researched These books just keep getting better and better and I can t wait for the [...]

It was an okay read, but nothing really stood out in the story Elizabeth was all over the place with her emotions and I felt too big of a deal was made about her being wealthy It seemed quite silly really since she was into charity work yet wanted to hide the fact that she had money I also didn t buy the attraction between her and John I never did get what actually made them want each other so badly There were a lot of dinners and outings, but other than that not much else.

not too fussed with this book but a good story it was the tooing n froing regarding whether to trust their feelings for the other that put me off this story loved the Aunt Bea and Millicent would loved to read her story have just started next book inthe series and totally hooked i want to know their story.
