I actually came across this book on book giveaway section I thought it looked and sounded cute Once I started reading I was surprised to find out the main character was LDS and to read about her life, finding faith and the right person to love I being LDS loved the story but could see with some LDS terminology thrown in the book how it could be weird or confusing for those that aren t a part of the church After a short while though the story seemed to focus on her career, and her growing relat [...]

New author Rachael Renee Anderson shows incredible talent in her new book Divinely Designed I normally do not stay up late to read books, but this was the exception, A VERY GOOD ONE I couldn t put it down I loved the refreshingly witty humor of the characters and the plot was great I really enjoyed it and I hope you will too

This book was cute but not spectacular I enjoyed the main character and her interactions with the main man The biggest problem I had was a lack of interest in the plot Once I realized that the two people I wanted would end up together, I stopped caring about a lot of the rest Still it s a quick fluffy read that sometimes hits the spot for summer.

Cute book I love light romance and this was it LDS fiction, good character development, I grew to like the people, Kennedy and Braxton, interesting names throughout I would recommend this book for a fun, light read.

I have read a number of books by this author and this has been my least favorite The romance is a pretty cute one but it is really heavy on the religious side making the book feel not so light and fun It wasn t really unrealistic but just felt a little heavy handed to me I prefer her other books to this one.

Absolutely enjoyable read This is LDS romance at its best, in my humble opinion I started reading this in the morning and did not want to put it down So, I had it read by the time I went to bed late that night It is 182 pages of wit and romance coupled with some subtle insights into what it means to have faith in personal revelation. The story Kennedy Jackson has all of her worldly possessions packed into her Toyota Corolla and is stranded on a lonely 2 lane highway somewhere between Albuquerque, [...]

A light, refreshing read with likable characters and a clear plot line The LDS element is central to the book as it s an important part of the characters lives, but you don t have to have a strong knowledge of the faith to follow and enjoy the book The story chronicles a little less than a year in the life of Kennedy Jackson, who has just taken a new job in a new city Most of the characters that she meets in her new life are only sketchily developed, but who the author focuses her attention on i [...]

I picked this book up randomly in the library it seemed exactly right for the type of book I was looking for I started reading it and only then realized it was LDS lit not that there is anything wrong with that I ve never read LDS lit before, and if this is how they all are, I know why The girls acted like young women though they were college age, the main character was clueless, and her actions of seeking personal and private time with a man who was supposed to be in love or at least dating one [...]

Imagine meeting your destiny on the side of the road as you re trying to change a tire Kennedy graduates from BYU, brakes her engagement to Chris, and takes a job as an interior designer in Tempe, Arizona in a leap of faith That s when she meets Braxton Taylor Braxton can t quite get Kennedy off his mind she s stubborn, curious, smart, outgoing, and beautiful She s everything he s not so naturally they make a great fit I would love to see how Kennedy s going to transform the Taylor mansion

This is an LDS novel, fairly short, about a girl who just graduated from BYU as an interior designer She takes a job in Arizona On her move to Tempe, and with her car piled high and her trunk stuffed with so much of her stuff, she gets a flat tire A tall handsome stranger stops to help her, and it goes from there. This is a nice and wholesome story There s some conflict, but not too much There s some talk of faith and prayer, but not too much There s the whole singles ward action Non members who [...]

This was one of the cutest LDS romantic fiction books that I ve read in a long time And this is exactly how I love them to be not too preachy fantastic characters cute, cute romance and clean.Kennedy is moving to start a new job in interior design, when her tire needs changing Braxton stops to help and they meet He tries to track her down later, but has a tough time, until she turns up in an unexpected place They quickly become friends and the story takes off Cute, cute, cute Loved it

I really enjoyed reading this book Kennedy is moving to Arizona to take her first job after graduating from BYU She meets Braxton Taylor when her car gets a flat tire and he pulls over to help her She is very independent and does not want to rely on the help of others, but she learns that sometimes it is neccessary to accept help Braxton and her end up becoming friends as she helps him decorate some houses he has built Their realtionship goes through its ups and downs as they learn to trust each [...]

Amazing About a girl who belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints She went to BYU got engaged and then reailized she might be making a mistake With much prayer she decided to go thier seperate ways and if they crossed paths along the way then great So she goes to Arizona to pursue her dream job of design There she meets a guy and nonconsciously falls in love She is then realizing that the Lord knows her and how she should live better than she does and that she should trust in h [...]

Cute LDS chick lit An easy read with fun characters and funny situations Kennedy was witty and had good comebacks, but I didn t understand her appeal and Braxton s initial attraction She was entirely too sarcastic, grumpy and not very charming so I missed how he actually became interested in such a grouch She lightened up as the story progressed which was good It was about enduring, forgiveness and starting over Cute, quick read.

    Devony
This was a really cute read Just one of those perfect chick flicks Anderson has an amazing way of developing the characters I loved how much light humor she put in their and I loved Kennedy s independence and how she completely blew Braxton off when he asked her if he needed help and that Braxton tried to track her not in a creepy stalker way and almost let it slipped I really enjoyed this book and hope to read .

    Alyson
This was a fun book I was in the mood for something lighthearted and fun There are only a few books by this author that I haven t read and this is one of them This one has a LDS background Kennedy seems nearly perfect She is thoughtful of others and is very concerned that she doesn t hurt anyone s feelings Everything turns out perfect in the end, though sometimes you are just in the mood for a happily ever after.

    Lucinda
I m torn between 3 and 3 1 2 stars I liked it, it s a cute, quick story but I agree that the characters are not very well developed What I really didn t like was the abrupt, almost lame, ending It feels like it quite didn t deliver I have read RRA s other books and the endings also fall short The author obviously struggles with the wrapping up part Other than that, it s a sweet, clean story, with Christian values.

    Tiffany
I loved how this book pulled me back to college memories and finding love It was GREAT how it s all based on an LDS college graduate venturing out into the world to discover what her life will be and how the gospel was woven throughout the storyline loved that After you read it, ask me what I thought of the ending I have a definite opinion but it may be a spoiler alert.

    Liz
LOVED this book Loved the humor and the relationships formed in this book It reminded me a lot of my dating years, and dating becoming engaged to my adorable hubby In fact, it made me remember some things that made me fall in love with him Sometimes you forget those things I d love to own this book

    Marissa
I really enjoyed this book I love how it starts out and how it ends It is one the cutest books I have ever read in my life My friends aunt wrote it and I think her aunt is a great writer and I hope she writes books like this one and of course I will be reading that one I say if you have not read this book then do so it is so good I could hardly put it down.

    Jinjer
Another cute LDS romance The ending was a bit awkward for me I don t think people who are in love wouldn t talk for a few weeks because they are frustrated with each other A healthy couple would probably talk it out and work it out BEFORE 2 weeks time Just my opinion I did like the characters and enjoyed the book overall.

    Emily F
Old favorite is still great This is an old favorite of mine, but even after a few years, it is still fabulous The characters are great and relatable and faith is woven in very well, not obtrusive at all, but if you don t like even subtle LDS themes, this may not be the book for you I loved it, clean, PG

    Tressa (Wishful Endings)
This is an LDS book about a girl who leaves a broken engagement to take up an ideal job in another state AZ She meets someone, but her roomate has already claimed him and she still has some things to work through She does end up getting the guy I think there was too much emphasis on the main character not wanting to date the guy because of her roomate, but otherwise I thought it was good.
