Another silly, outdated adventure with Emily It makes for great light reading Thankfully this one focuses on comedy rather than sexual angst, so I could enjoy Emily s humorous antics in Notre Dame, on the Seine, and with her ridiculous fake baby assignment This one might be my favorite of the four part series.

Seriously disappointing I thought this was a humorous travelogue instead it consisted in fake emails of the natterings of a spoiled young thing, who had little appreciation for where she was going or the language she was supposedly there to learn Her focus was on whether she wanted to do it for the first time with her favorite hottie p Her trips to classic sites led each time to one or funny disasters Thing waswhen her trips were going well, she and her buddies were written as those rotten sort [...]

Another book that I should have left on the shelf I found this book to be nearly impossible to slog through The main character is a vapid, mindless irritating child who has no clue of what is important in life I kept thinking that I hoped young girls wouldn t read this and think this was the way to act I know that this was intended to be a humorous book, but I only found humor in one spot, and it didn t last long enough to rate the story as funny.

Emily and Holly are off to Paris for a two week intensive French course Em is looking forward to the romantic city of lights and has plans for her and Devon on her 17th birthday Only now Devon has to go on a fishing trip for the first week, and Emily has to take a baby simulator along on the trip Yet Emily somehow manages to rise above it all to have a good time.

Many crazy adventures with Emily You just have to wonder if she can do anything without causing some huge bit of trouble But if she did anything normally, she wouldn t be Emily Quite a few laugh out loud moments while reading And I must say that I m quite happy with the way things turned out between her and Devon.

I love books that can make me literally laugh out loud, and this is one of those books Emily s ridiculousness keeps the reader turning, and nothing is ever ordinary and boring. She is someone that I could definitely be friends with in real life, because I would end up in a lot of the same situations if I were to go abroad. Also, Devon delicious.
