Odd Eyed Khao Manee

30 April 2010 ChaWee gave birth to two beautiful kittens today. One odd eyed boy and one blue eyed girl. Dad is our Thai import boy KaTee. They are both available and ready to go beginning August 2010. See the kittens page.

Meet a very special cat. Odyssey ChaWee is the first Khao Manee cat to come to the UK, and her arrival is eagerly awaited in May 2009.

The Khao Manee are a traditional and natural breed from Thailand. It is the last of the four Thai breeds to leave Thailand (the other three breeds being the Siamese, Burmese and Korat). This stunning breed has a place in Thai history, the name meaning "Diamond Eye". This name refers to the beautiful odd coloured eyes that grace many of the cats of this breed, and they are considered good luck cats in their native country.

ChaWee is a genuine Khao Manee, descended from Thai imports, and is registered with TICA (The Internationsl Cat Association). My very grateful thanks to Janet Poulsen of Odyssey Khao Manee
